Karen's Personal Credo

I am at my best when I have a goal that inspires me and gives me a reason to keep going forward. I will try to prevent times when I lack motivation.

I will enjoy my work by finding employment where I can be creative, have the liberty to bring ideas and do things in different ways. I am passionate to find new perspectives while doing my daily and routine tasks. I love to help others and support them in their learning process. I love to represent my organization with honor and pride.

I will find enjoyment in my personal life through a sense of autonomy and liberty. I love to accomplish goals and keep going forward in life. I like to learn new things every day and become a better person. I love to be happy, sing, cook, travel and share with my loved ones.

I will find opportunities to use my natural talents and gifts such as music, decision-make, hard-work, problem-solving, positive, spiritual, and critican thinking.
I can do anything I set my mind to. I will travel the world, for leisure and library advocacy. I will keep studying and doing research. I will join organizations that advocate for libraries at all levels and promote education. I will keep publishing more about information literacy and libraries, especially school libraries. I would like to learn more about children’s literature and organize events to promote reading for pleasure.

My life’s journey is to live a passionate life and make a difference in this world through education and equity. I want to inspire others to achieve their personal and professional goals. I teach information literacy to promote a democratic society. I believe all citizens should have the same opportunities in life through education and critical decision making.

I will stop procrastinating and start working on:
– strategically learning more
– give more to others, support them
– being more humble

I will strive to incorporate the following attributes into my life:
– Entrepreneurship, hard-work
– Professionalism
– Leadership, Love, Compassion

I will constantly renew myself by focusing on the four dimensions of my life:
I can find balance through exercise and following a good diet.
I want to keep growing my faith, praying more and putting my faith in action looking for ways to help others.
I need to learn how to relax and concentrate while working.
I want to sing more, learn more about music, professional topics, finance, business, and personal growth.
